History of Our Real Estate Company

Prudential Bridger Realty of Bozeman, Prudential Big Sky Real Estate, and Gillespie Realty Company of Missoula merged in February 2006 to become Prudential Montana Real Estate, the first full-service, statewide real estate company. These parent companies enjoyed much success as independently owned operations, often trading first and second market share positions. Bridger Realty and Gillespie Realty were founded 27 and 48 years ago, respectively, and have maintained strong roots in each community.

In May 2006, Prudential Montana Real Estate acquired Madison Valley Real Estate of Ennis. In the Spring of 2007, Prudential Montana Real Estate acquired King Real Estate of Hamilton and Headwaters Realty of Sheridan, Twin Bridges and Churchill. Aligning with the best companies in each market, Prudential Montana Real Estate maintains its core vision of leveraging the power of Prudential with the best practices from each office. Prudential Montana Real Estate now operates twelve offices statewide.

Our statewide network includes offices in Big Sky, Bozeman, Churchill, Ennis, Florence, Hamilton, Missoula, Polson, Sheridan, and Twin Bridges.

Our agents are trained in many specialties, offering real estate expertise in Residential, Investment, Commercial, Development, New Construction, Fine Homes, and Ranch & Recreational, Land, and Waterfront properties.

Prudential Montana Real Estate still maintains local leadership and ownership by Mike Basile, CEO, and Dan Ermatinger, COO.
