Sheridan
Surrounded by seven mountain ranges, Sheridan is known as the "Heart of the Ruby Valley." The town has a library, parks and even a public swimming pool to serve the 700 residents in town and the many more who live in the outlying rural areas. Modern day Sheridan is the business center of the Ruby Valley. With an eye towards town promotion the Main Street Improvement Team was formed. The town provides Wi-Fi free of charge within city limits. With so many mountain ranges surrounding the valley, plenty of recreational opportunities are available. Fishing and hunting are two local favorites along with snowmobiling, snow shoeing and cross country skiing.
